What is a backorder?

From time to time when we have an estimated arrival date for incoming stock we will put popular products on our website on a preorder/backorder basis. This allows customers to order before the stock arrives so they can be sure they have reserved the items they need. These dates listed are actually only estimates based on the date our shipping container is booked in to leave our factories.

What is the release date?

The release date is the estimated date we can release your order from our warehouse to the freight carrier. Along the way sometimes things can and do happen that will delay the shipment's arrival. By purchasing using our preorder system you are agreeing to this arrival/release date being subject to change and we cannot be held liable for goods not arriving in time for your event. If there is a delay of more than 1 week we will contact you with further information

When will I receive the order? Your entire order will be dispatched once the back-ordered items have arrived in stock. We are not able to split an order and ship the in-stock items separately as you have only paid one shipping fee.  We suggest that if you need in-stock and preorder items you place separate orders for these.

Can I receive some urgent items now and the backorder products later? Unfortunatly this cannot be done as you have only paid one shipping fee.  We suggest that if you need in-stock and preorder items you place separate orders for these.

Can I cancel my preorder? Yes that is not a problem, a standard administration fee may apply to the cancelled order

Can I change my preorder? Yes that is not a problem, however, depending on the change additional postage charges may apply

What can go wrong with preorder? There are various scenarios that can go wrong when you place a preorder. Things such as delayed shipments, port delays, incorrect products arriving, products not arriving at all etc. These issues are out of our control as we are listing the items on the basis of preorder before we sight them ourselves or have a locked-in delivery date to our warehouse.  Should an issue arise on our end we will contact you and offer a full refund or other solution.
